INGREDIENTS

1onion, diced 

  • 2 tomato, diced 

  • 3-4 dry red chillies 

  • 4-5 garlic cloves 

  • Tamarind 

  • Salt 

  • Oil 

  • Mustard, curry leaves, split urad dal  for tempering 

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • heat 1tsp oil in a pan and fry chillies and tamarind for a min

  • fry garlic and onions until onions turn translucent 

  • Add tomatoes, few curry leaves and salt and fry until tomatoes soften

Cool and grind

Remove into a serving bowl 

  • Temper, red chillies, mustard seeds, split urad dal and curry leaves in 2 tsp of oil and pour over the chutney

That’s it, your delicious and easy onion tomato chutney is ready
